According to the agreement signed "ELGAMA-ELEKTRONIKA" Ltd. obtains from Phoenix Systems a license to use Phoenix-PRIME - a proprietary PRIME protocol implementation - in our products for the Smart Grid market. Phoenix Systems is a software development company focused on the development of the proprietary real-time operating system Phoenix-RTOS and software stacks for Smart Grid such as Phoenix-PRIME. Phoenix Systems strategic goal is to create software-based solutions enabling rapid development of new Internet of Things appliances.
Phoenix-PRIME is the first pure software PLC PRIME protocol implementation and the 5th world implementation certified by PRIME Alliance. Tightly integrated with Phoenix-RTOS, it is a base of the new DCU with balancing meter functionality developed by Atende Software. The first massive roll out of more than 6 thousands units will be completed at the end of the year 2015.
"ELGAMA-ELEKTRONIKA" Ltd. will implement Phoenix-PRIME in the new line of intelligent metering appliances.
